The product mix could have been more diverse but rounding up to 5 stars for the Instagram-able backdrops, fun play area for younger kids, and the sheer nostalgia for parents who remember what it's like to be a Toys "R" Us kid in during our childhood.

Toys R Us is back and pretty cool! I don't think it's nearly what it used to be, but this is still a cool place to visit. Don't expect a ton to do here as it is just a part of Macy's. There are a few things kids can do such as a giant Lite Brite, photo opportunity with the giraffe and another spot, and a few toys to choose from. Giant Lite Brite to me was the coolest thing. It's about 4ft-6ft and lots of different colors. I was able to write hello, draw a PokeBall, and make a little kirby. This place is a little difficult to find if you use the escalators, so I recommend using the elevators.

This is my favorite toy store in the most iconic of locations. I've taken so many kids here (and the old Times Square location) and together we spend so many hours without out even realizing it! The dinosaur is awesome and so is the Ferris Wheel. One could buy most of these toys in a big box retailer like a Walmart but it's nothing like visiting a Toys "Я" Us

It will not live up to the nostalgia, I'm sorry to say. This Toys R Us is about the size of a Foot Locker, taking up maybe 1/8 of the 7th floor of Macy's. It's got areas focused on age and brand of toy, like Legos, Hot Wheels, Barbie - but it doesn't compete with the range of different toys that a true Toys R Us would have. The prices also aren't clear, a lot of items don't have prices, and the ones that do are confused by sale signs on the shelves. It was also widely crowded, with kids climbing on top of installations in a mini-playground, smearing play dough all over the place. The line to buy anything looked daunting enough to discourage anyone but the most committed.

All in all, it's a toy store inside Macy's. It something fun for the kids to do for 30 minutes in an otherwise busy midtown area.

Opening day it was pretty empty of customers abd the shelves were stocked and organized: barbie, Lego. Pokémon. Toys R US exclusives.... but! I imagine it will be bonkers soon. The aisles are not particularly wide. The selections are not particularly extensive. BuT! Toys! And! Bonus 'activities" - take your picture next yo impressive Lego creations if Macy's and or the Tatum if liberty; big white Furry Llama and unicorn and [my favorite] SLOTH!
Anyway- hohoho. Toy buying time is nigh.

I'm glad Toy R Us Is alive again and now is in Macy's I hope This store will last another year cos I can have Bricktober promotion like everyone else int the world not like in US in the past that we are so desperate about bricktober promotion and bra bra bra. Service is the same as Macy's service because it is in the mall.

It was my son's bday. Kids had a great time as it was their first time there. Has a little play area, toys and figures. I would definitely return.
