My son and I get our haircuts at Mathews place once a month. We have Alex as our stylist and he is great! My son is 5 years old and he is very comfortable on their chairs and does not move around because Alex is very patient and delicate cutting his hair. I highly recommend this place for fathers and sons to get haircuts here !

Had a haircut today with Matthew. Great guy, and more importantly, gave me a great haircut. He asked me if he can change it up a little and try something new. Being that he is the pro, I said “go for it.” It came out great, and really happy with the new hairstyle. I’ve been to a bunch of different people to cut my hair, and I finally found the right spot. Would highly recommend Matthew, and the place as a whole. Very friendly, and welcoming. 5⭐️’s

Been getting my haircut here for almost two years. I love the experience!! From when you walk in till you walk out you feel like you are being taken care of.
I especially love the complimentary espresso!
Matthew gave me great advice on how to cut and style my hair when I wasn’t sure what to do with it
I would recommend anyone to cut or style your hair!

Awesome experience for myself and my son for haircuts! My 13 year old son told me this is his new favorite place for haircuts now that he’s keeping his hair longer. They cut your hair exactly like you want it. Best thing is you can book online for your appointment too!

Matthew was everything I hoped, he helped me find a style that suit me best and executed it immaculately. I struggled finding a barber after living in the city for a number of years, this spot is better than anything I’d experienced. A real unique offering for men and a genuine gem on Long Island. I went to this place for the first time looking for a haircut for my wedding. I live out of state but got married in Long Island so I needed to find a spot. I tried Lana about a month or so before the date and she helped me tremendously. I showed her a picture and told her what I was looking for and she nailed it. Both her and Matthew offered their expertise on products and styles. I have medium to long length hair so I was looking for a quality scissor cut. With the haircut and beard trim I got exactly what I was looking for. I went again the morning of my wedding and got a fresh haircut, hot towel shave, beard trim, and face mask recommended by Lana. I was truly taken care of by professionals. The level of skill paired with excellent personalities makes this place incredible. I would recommend to anyone.

My boyfriend doesn’t have a google account so asked me to leave this great review!! He usually is disappointed after his hair cuts but we tried out this place and he left happier than ever. Matthew was so kind and helped him figure out what he really needed for his hair cut. The place was so nice and clean. 10/10 experience! He will definitely be returning.

I drive 45 minutes one way to get my haircut from Matthew. He takes the time to hear what style/cut you’d like and is also knowledgeable on the direction of your hair and how to make it look better. If you’re tired of settling on a so so haircut go make an appointment with Matthew. Make sure you schedule an appointment he usually is booked two weeks out!
