I have been going here for more than 5+ years. The place has gotten so bad. I used to have a decent guy and he took his time and did a good cut . Now I never see that same barber and whomever I get is just actual trash at cutting hair. They cantt do a fade correctly and my hair is so uneven and poorly cut it’s a joke. When it’s styled in a specific way it looks ok but in general it’s actually embarrassing . I almost feel like I deserve a refund tbh . This has happened now multiple times with different barbers. I’m convinced that they are not licensed or trained properly cause idek what to say….

Been going here for years and usually get good reliable service with a good haircut. More recently though ( and more than once) I’ve had to trim the hair in and around my ears myself after I got home- as it hasn’t been thorough. I just recently had a very bad experience here with one of the barbers, that left a really bad taste in my mouth. While I would like to put it behind me and trust that it wouldn’t happen again, the response to another bad review here really caught my attention and leaves me doubtful. I would suggest you look for yourself, and make up your own mind.

I’ve been to this barber shop 3 times now. The shop is very clean and barbers are very professional. My most recent haircut was not what I had asked and did not come out the way I wanted it but still look acceptable. One bad cut doesn’t define a whole shop and I would still recommend giving this barber shop a chance.

Diversely skilled barbers, new art-esque environment, comfortable ammunition-base bench seating and free espresso while you wait. Unique barbershop from inside and out. They also have their own brand of hair products! This all justifies the price of $25 a hair cut. Happy customer here!

My usual spot was closed on a Saturday so I found this place on instagram. Advertised on social media as some sort of prohibition-era/Italian-gangster themed place so decided to check it out. Turns out it’s way better. I walked in to find it’s an all Dominican staff with Caribbean music bumping at 8:30am. I was a little confused as there was no prohibition theme inside, but knew it was going to be a great haircut regardless (as it was) so decided to see it through. The interior decor is even more bizarre. A sort of Post-war industrial cargo aesthetic mixed with traditional American tattoo flash art. Not too weird until I saw some sort of corner shrine with a framed portrait of Andrew Jackson next to a framed portrait of Martin Luther King jr..a strange and thought provoking pairing. I left with a head looking squared away on the outside but a mind boggled on the inside. Very avant-garde 10/10

Have been getting haircuts at mad men for over 8 years now, at both locations… not a bad thing can be said, always professional, always top notch cuts. I take my son now too, they always greet him with a comforting smile, a lollipop, and an awesome haircut!!

These barbers DON’T listen. Occasionally you get a good haircut, but 75% of the time they do whatever they want. They always try throwing in something “fancy” like carving out your sideburns or giving you a hard part, neither of which you asked for. I get a very simple haircut that is rarely messed up at other barbershops. For $28, it’s not worth it. Not to mention, several of them don’t even speak English. I don’t know why I go to this place. This place has gone down hill.
