Popped in last minute for dinner and definitely coming back! Almost walked after I saw the menu as I was looking for something light, but found a few options that satisfied me without weighing me down. With that said, I almost walked because the menu looks amazing and once you see service pulling orders from the kitchen you'll want to order EVERYTHING.

Sat at the bar and the staff helped me make a few light selections and within a few minutes I was snacking. The energy of space is fun, hip, and social - good for a date and even better with larger groups. Cannot wait to come back!

I really enjoyed this little off shoot of Cafe Ba Ba Reeba in River North! I’ve walked by it so many times so was excited to finally stop in. We had to wait quite a while but they were accommodating with us adding a person to our reservation. The food was great, I just wasn’t a fan crystal bread (it felt super low effort and didn’t taste great) but loved the goat cheese baked in tomato sauce! I tried the peach sangria for the first time and I enjoyed it and how unique other was but I do prefer the red sangria personally. It’s great for a good group brunch/dinner if everyone is good with family style.

This was our first trip to lil-rib-a-rib-a and we really enjoyed it! It’s in a great area in North River with many other Latin/Spanish themed restaurants. This is a Spanish Tapas style place so we ordered several plates to share. The shaved Brussel sprouts salad was delicious! We also enjoyed the garlic shrimp and the scallops dish too. The bacon wrapped dates were amazing. Our server was also one of the bartenders and he was very attentive and personable - we recommend for sure!

This restaurant serves more tapas style, small plates item. It’s good for hanging out with friends and eating something light to share a variety with. Overall, the service was great, and my only complaint would just be the tight space in the restaurant.

We got the hanger steak, Croquette , and scallop. All were delicious and I especially enjoyed the Croquette

We made a last minute reservation on Labor Day for 4pm. Not a ton of people inside which was great. We were impressed with the place, it’s very cute inside, a bit dark so bring your flashlight for the menu.

We tried a few items:
- the patatas bravas 10/10
- tortilla española 6/10 (I will say I am vegetarian so I don’t much like the egg in any totrtilla, so if you do it might be great)
- heirloom tomato & Burrata salad1 10/10

Meat dishes that I didn’t try:
- chicken & chorizo skewer 10/10
- ibérico ham croquetas 10/10

I had the mango sangria of the day which was great. Overall a great experience. The server was short and seemed annoyed but it wasn’t a big deal. We would come back because everything exceeded expectations.

Great tapas restaurant with locals atmosphere. Food was pretty Spanish authentic, happy hour offering $6 house wine glass, sangría and chorizo roll bites for $1.75.
