I’ve been getting haircuts with Alyssa for the past 18 months since Floyd’s Erie Opened! Every haircut has been exceptional and she’s so friendly!

What I appreciate the most is her attention to detail paired with being efficient! This Floyd’s location is one of the nicest I’ve been to and very well run! All the staff is amazing, but definitely go get a cut with Alyssa!

We had an appointment scheduled with Alyssa. Unfortunately we were stuck in traffic and got there 9 minutes late. Apparently, they have a "7 minutes late policy" that the receptionist informed us. I asked if we could reschedule with Alyssa and she replied in a snotty way "she has openings tomorrow."
I get it - we were late, that's on us.
We requested Alyssa but a couple of minutes would not put her schedule out of whack with a basic "Floyd's Cut." So I'm guessing a loyal customer is not valuable to her. Well "peace-out! ✌? loyal customer lost! As for the receptionist -- I hope the manager sees this review and speaks to her about the lack of customer service skills. We found a much better place and with much better customer service after leaving. We got a walk-in appointment with a different and positive experience. Thanks for sending us their way! ✌?

Haircuts are generally okay but I was really annoyed by the $1 fee due to increased operational cost. These types of hidden fees are turn off for the customer. Just increase your haircut base price so people are aware about the upfront cost and don’t charge these BS fees after the fact.

Gema is always friendly and does a fantastic job with my hair, which is saying something, because I have a few cow licks and weird spots to deal with and not all stylists do well and make me look good.

I went here after getting a bad cut by my usual place. Needed a walk-in, but was told 6 was the only appointment they had. It is what is, however, they ran to my car and said they might have one in an hour and they would text me if it became available. I thought that was awesome, but the text didn't come. No big deal, I still have my 6 o'clock. I get there a little after 5 and was told I missed my 2 o'clock appointment I didn't know I had, but they can get me in at 6 with a different person. I agreed, but canceled shortly after because I had enough bad experiences with haircuts that day and the disorganization was enough of a red flag on it's own.

Horrible service, disgustingly rude hair dresser. Came in on a scheduled 6:30pm appointment on 11/29 and was just a couple minutes late because of traffic which is my bad. What i don’t understand is the horrible service and treatment from the hairdresser. Was super kind but was shocked when the hairdresser was so rude. I asked for suggestions on my hair/ what would suit me and the hairdresser said “idk it’s not my hair” like it isn’t her profession and her JOB. Despite the way she answered me i continued to ask for suggestions and was faced with rude and backhanded comments. Haircut was awful and rushed but the service and treatment was so bad and the hairdresser made me so uncomfortable that i’d rather have someone else fix it for me. I’ve worked in the customer service industry and would never treat my customers or clients in such a disgusting and awful way. I’ve come to this location multiple times before and have had super kind and nice hairdressers that are understanding but whoever this lady was, was so incredibly rude and unprofessional that i would not come back or recommend this place to anyone

I am a loyal Floyd's customer with 25 past reservations, and countless walk-ins. When I arrived this afternoon, with a pre-booked reservation, 7 minutes late, I was told "i just marked you as a "no show"". I apologized for traffic and asked if I could be seated, and was told she'd "ask Alyssa" (my appointment was with "anyone". The gal at the desk walked to the back, came back to the desk and said "I don't think Alyssa is going to be able to see you". So, there's 2 people at the desk, and at least one in the back room who can't give a regular a Floyd's cut with 23 minutes left? Okay, noted. Bye bye Floyd
