I just left the barbershop and I'm blown away! My hair was 'is on fire' - in the best way possible! The barber did an incredible job, transforming my look from a 40 year old wannabe lol?to a youthful appearance that matches my actual age. I'm obsessed with this haircut! The attention to detail, the pride taken in his work, and the welcoming environment all exceeded my expectations. I feel like a new person, and I can't stop loving my fresh look! 5 stars, hands down! Tried twice to give this place a try. First time was given the wrong hours of operation and no barber was available.

Second time, made an appointment, showed up and waited 45 minutes for the barber to be a no-show, therefore I walked out.

Why confirm an appointment. make me drive all the way here and wait for the barber to not even show up.

Although the lady was nice, there was no attempt on her end to reach out to the barber and she didn't seem to care.

Horrible professionalism in this day of age, will not return and have no desire to support this business.

Glad others had great experiences , but in this day of age, this is below standard customer service and unfortunately did not meet the mark for me

Drove for 45 minutes to their location only to find out that the address they have online is wrong. Apparently, they’ve closed shop and I learnt that the owner now works out of another barbers shop. You should update this information so people don’t drive all the way for nothing!

Gold black empire cuts is the place to be, from fort St. John to get my hair braid and a good clean cut, the best in Edmonton. Nelly and Diana, thanks you guys…….

Got some braids put in here a little while back before holidays, went swimming in the ocean for 8 days straight they held tight threw the whole week. 5/5 would highly Recommend and I left my jacket there and they held in the back for 3 weeks for me. Awesome people running this shop!

I had a wonderful experience at Gold Black Empire Cuts after having a not so great one elsewhere. My last cut was rushed, and unprofessional. He cut my waves against the grain, he cut my beard unlike how I wanted him too and pushed my hairline back which to me is UNACCEPTABLE.

But for Peo (the man in charge), he listened and followed instructions about what I wanted and perfected it. As for the the barber, he was a great conversationalists, super knowledgeable businessman, and very relatable! He took his time and the it was worth every second. I can tell he’s passionate and cares more about the clients satisfaction then money. A1 guy.

I didn’t leave with just a haircut as he has wonderful products and accessories. I recommend stopping by even if you’re not getting a haircut.

Dope on the shoe restore … I came for a cleaning and he advised me about the restore and damn they look brand new (Crispy) … But i only gave a 4 star ? because we had a minor colour issue which he immediately solved.
