Lexi and Benny are the best! My partner got a haircut and got shave and I got a haircut today and we could not be more thrilled with the quality of the work, the fun conversation, the easy energy in the space and the prices are great given the experience and training these two barbers bring to the table. Thanks Lexi and Benny for being so great! We will absolutely keep driving to Catskill from Kingston to see you - 100% worth it! Highly recommend.

Come on. Best barbershop around. Always good convo unless you’re a stiff. Anyone complaining about pricing clearly hasn’t had a haircut proper in 15 years. Most places charge $45-$65. Benny, Lexi, & Antonio are all amazing barbers

As a longtime customer of the classic barbershop, I was a little hesitant to make an appointment at Monte's. Yes, the price is higher than my normal cut, but I wanted to show support for a new local business. OK, now my opinion. Antonio was a great conversationalist, a great barber, and I WILL be back. I kept thinking it was time to get out of the chair, but every time I started to rise, there was more neat trimming to be done. On a real positive note, my wife of 50 years was overly impressed. She is a lover of long hair, and gets slightly upset every time I trim, but her comment this time: "Hey, that looks good on you". Antonio, I think this haircut will give me another 50 good years of marriage.

As soon as I found out that Lexi and Benny made this place their new home, this was my barber shop. They are awesome people and they give the best hair cuts. I drive way out of my way to get a hair cut here and it is 1000% worth it. I'm a customer for life. And give some love to Antonio too. I've witnessed his clients coming to see him from that other place. Long live Monte's.

I scheduled an appointment for first available and Antonio ended up cutting my hair. Easy to communicate with and I got a very clean fade...will definitely be a returning customer to have Antonio cut my hair.

This barbershop is exactly what the area needs. Benny is a master at his craft, this is by far the best haircut that I’ve ever had. It’s well worth the price. The shop has a chill vibe and it’s overall a great experience. If you take your appearance seriously and want the best haircut you can possibly get this is where you need to go. The attention to detail is what sets this place above the rest.

Benny & Lexi are the real deal. I always walk in greeted and the vibes are always awesome. Love the theme of the place and Lexi always nails my haircut exactly as I want it! Highly recommend this place!
