My family and I were visiting the area and decided to go to Owen’s on a Friday night. I was worried we would have to wait a long time but luckily they got us a table right away. We had such an amazing experience, the food and service were sensational. Our server Isabella was the BEST!!! She was so attentive to details and made our family feel so welcome and special. We honestly hadn’t had service like that in a very long time. And the food was amazing too. The shrimp and grits were so delicious I would definitely be going back just for that. The only downside to the restaurant is the parking but I wouldn’t mind walking a little for exceptional food and service.

LOVE the food here, laid back atmosphere but as the same time a PERFECT spot to go on a first date or hang out with family/friends all while enjoying great tasting food. I personally had the seafood broil along with the oysters Rockefeller (Had crab & Spinach on top, baked to perfection) and OH MY GOSH it was so delicious. It was quite a large serving on the broil, so I recommend to spilt it amongst two/three people unless of course you’re able to eat it all on your own. My F.I.L had the chicken (with ham & gruyere cheese) absolutely amazing. We started off with the boiled peanuts ? and they were cooked to perfection (Chefs ?). I highly recommend them to everyone. Great Find in DT Sarasota, only downside is the parking. But that’s not the restaurants fault..if you do the pay by P. it’s $10 plus an hr. So we decided to parallel park on the Main Street which only was less than a 2 min walk away from the actual restaurant. My 5 year old loved the food too. I couldn’t stop her from eating all the oysters & clams. ?. Totally visiting Owen’s Fish Camp very soon.

A wonderful evening at Owen’s. We had to lurk around a bit before we got seats at the bar. And we are very glad we did. We had a couple drinks and only ate sides. The mussels and fried green tomatoes. And it was absolutely wonderful. Owens is turning into a must go for us.

Kentucky Peach Tea was so delicious and refreshing and gave a great buzz. Fish spread was greater starter and very Smokey. Gumbo was delicious, I could’ve ate a bowl three times the size. We shared the seafood boil and had plenty leftover to take home. Finished off with the fried pie and ice cream. Isabella did an amazing job with suggestions and service. We will definitely be back asap to try everything else we were struggling to decide on!

We ate there the other night we split the crab cake and we had the the Naked Fish Swap grouper blackened absolutely delicious. Isabella was our waitress we enjoyed having her excellent service. This was our best meal out of the week. Can't wait to go back. Thank you for a great dinner.

Food was a little pricey for the amount but, the service was prompt, the drinks were poured well the food was tasty and the overall experience was worth it. We will be back to experience more of the menu for sure!

It’s a cool fish camp. Niche decor. Amazing to find in downtown Sarasota. Good fish, skip the lobster roll outside. Grilled shrimp skewers were good appetizers waiting in the funky courtyard. Musician played nice acoustic guitar on a neat stage. Check it out
