First time here from out of town. Walk up service restaurant. Placed our order, drink cups placed in front of me and the girl walked away. I wasn’t sure if we were supposed to sit down, wait, or go fly a kite.
I think all the adults took the night off. We went to sit at a table and over half were dirty. Not crumbs dirty, entire table dirty with trays, glasses, napkins, everything. The teens working were huddled behind a counter as customer teens darted back and forth. Not a great first impression.
Witnessed a man sit for what seemed like 15 minutes. Order was ready. Never called his name. Excuse given was a name confusion of Davis and David. Big stretch.
Entrees were good, don’t understand the corn pancake thing, bone dry even with vegetable oil spread. Green beans had way too much pepper.

Came in for first visit on Thursday March 16th around 2pm. It's a walk up service where you take a number and then your food is brought out, but there is no regular table service. The counter lady was nice and professional. The place was pretty clean. The tea was excellent. I ordered the brisket plate with potato salad, fried okra and toasted bread.

The brisket plate was almost $19, and the brisket itself was great, perfectly cooked and plentiful. The fried okra was fresh, crunchy and not overly greasy, and also a large order. I did not like the potato salad because it was a mayo and sour cream based recipe and I like potato salad with mustard and mayo, so it wasn't bad for probably most people but I didn't like it (I didn't base my food review on the potato salad because most people will probably be ok with it). I also had the fried pickles as an appetizer and I really liked them. Not too greasy and the pickles were very fresh, had a nice tang to them, great overall flavor and crunch. My buddy had the turkey sandwich and really liked it (photo attached). It was actually carved turkey!

As a side note they had a new cook in the back, the guy was wearing sunglasses...not a good "look" for customers to see when visiting.

Prices were fair, food was good, parking is ample, location is good, service is nil because there is none, place was clean, staff was not the most professional but they didn't do anything wrong, they just didn't seem to want to be there.

I may return if I'm in the area but I'm not making a special trip to come back.

I found plastic in my pulled chicken sandwich.

The food was pretty solid until I pulled a giant piece of plastic out of my mouth. The fried pickles are very weird too.

The piece of plastic is not small either as seen on the right in the photo.

The portions are generous however the food is not good. The brisket was cold. The french fries were so greasy & the Brunswick stew had so much sugar in it I couldn't eat either side item. In addition one of the employees was sweeping the floor all around me. Not good for my allergies. When one of the employees asked how everything was I told her not good. Yet nothing was done. So why ask? I won't be back.

I just came here to say this is one of the best bbq places i have tasted since i moved to cobb county. Everything was cooked to perfection. Brisket was smoky & juicy. Ribs were fall off the bone but not mushy. Cornbread is surprisingly good, the fries are okay. The portions are generous & the price is reasonable. I bought this for lunch but will probably end up having it for dinner too. My only complaint & the reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the mac n cheese was terrible. I mean its edible but I definitely would not order it again although i will be back! 9/10

ribs were falling off the bone! okra was hot and crisp salad was fresh! toast was perfect. I didn't want to go back to work. can I just sit here until dinner time was my initial thought ?

We are a steady regular here. Food is really good. Most sides are good. Mixed greens could be better. Ribs are usually very good. Every once in a wile they may be over done and dry but more often very good. The service is excellent. They are always pleasant.
I hope everyone tips the waitress even though it’s a counter order restaurant.

usually don’t bash, but the mashed potatoes taste like quick mashed from the bag. so bland. mac and cheese is lacking so much flavor, not much seasoning. chicken tenders were okay but didn’t receive my fries. would not eat here again
